This was my first woodworking project after moving into my current shop. I had limited tools setup at the time, so I designed the bench to be simple to build. One of these days I'll get around to building a more substantial traditional bench.
The top is constructed of three laminated layers of 3/4" plywood. The frame is a knock-down design built from pre-milled 1-1/2" poplar from a home center. The joints are assembled with steel cross dowels and 1/4-20 hardware.
